1 day post dental surgery and I'm thanking the heavens that I had this done in 2010 instead of decades ago. You see, I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to pain. Yes, even us spiritual women sometimes doubt that the Divine Goddess is out there taking care of us.

Not only that, how many of us get to have our mothers come with us to the dentist all day? Being in Montreal visiting my mother has been really wonderful on many levels. And since she loves to mother me, as all mothers do, it has been a win for us both!

Today we are relaxing post op, staying sheltered from the freezing weather. We played a game of scrabble and now we are cuddling up for a matinee in her bed having fun with all the new channels! I still can't chew so I'm enjoying mum's chicken soup.
