Women's Day Self Love Revolution
I'm savouring just having completed 2 week long Vividly Woman Mexico retreats. As usual, these sold out events ALWAYS WOW my circuits and bless me in so many ways.
There is nothing so divine as witnessing and participating in the re-birth of a woman's inner Goddess. I'm still drinking in the holiness of our journey this winter and experiencing gratitude throughout my being. And just in time for the100th anniversary of International Woman's Day this March 8th!
In one of my blog posts last month I made a huge confession. I wrote that I used to be a chronic self hater. It's true, and it's precisely because of that, that I deem myself highly qualified to support the women in my life who are struggling with this issue. Truth be told, it's actually less of an issue, and more like a plague!
I call the disease that so many of my sisters near and far are afflicted with, SLS, Self Love Starvation. The worst part is, that a woman will spend a life time looking high and low for a place to satiate her self love hunger, yet forget to look right inside of herself, the only place she could every find it anyway!
Self Love Starvation affects every area of our lives, but most importantly, the 3 areas that seem to matter the most to us:
1. Intimate love relationship
2. Professional Life & Finances
3. Family/childrenPlease watch the 4 minute video above for a snapshot of how the 3 most important areas of life are often suffocated by Self Love Starvation.
Every woman deserves to be in an unconditional infatuation with her own unique and precious beauty inside and out. You can't get that in a bottle or off a rack Sisters! If we don't claim this for ourselves, from within ourselves, we'll be chronically unfulfilled in the most important areas of life. International Woman's Day is a reminder to nourish ourselves first for the amazing beings that we are, exactly as we are !
